I AM STILL HERE.
This work examines the tension between external perception and internal complexity. The soft form presents a warped, skin-like exterior under tension that initially obscures the work’s deeper meaning, creating an encounter that feels both compelling and unsettling. Inside the hollow interior, the repeated phrase “I am still here.” appears in both English and Russian, transforming language into a persistent declaration of presence across translation, fragmentation, and displacement. The work resists passive viewing by requiring viewers to physically move around and peer into the form, positioning embodied engagement as essential to the process of meaning-making.
